Being Intentional

I painstakingly curate daily, my Instagram profile page,
A visually appealing layout, these days is all the rage.
The left post has a purple background, the right one pastel blue,
The center one is always reels, I had to birth in triplets, who knew?

When I order an exotic cheesy cut dosa, if the tablecloth is white,
I admonish silently the restaurateur, I'll have to edit and make it right.
Sometimes insult is added to injury, there's no matching selfie point,
The ambience may be good, but of no use, in the future I avoid that joint.

Instagram alone is not the culprit, other platforms have their curse,
On X I need to sound witty and sharp, but LinkedIn is even worse.
I can't watch a T20 nowadays, without unearthing a lesson to post,
Mindful to humble-brag my insights, lest others get opportunity to roast.

My poetry blog is a different beast, makes me pause and reflect,
Constantly musing what to post in the evening, my whole day is wrecked.
