Score well first, setup a chase,
The first few overs or the last,
Sit glued, as the fireworks blast.
Its the Test that tests one's patience still,
Either aficionados- or with time to kill,
With players taking the match to last ball,
not to win or lose, but to draw and stall.
You may think of me as fly-by-night, but I have passion that is raw,
I know that I cant win you, so I am playing for a draw.
